My name is David Mcphee.  

Over the last 10 years, I obtained an extensive knowledge of the Wineries, and wines offered for tasting, and it would be fair to say that Wine appreciation has been considerable extension of my life’s experience, along with managing the many needs and expectations of  guests during their daily trips to the mountain.

I have taken the opportunity to visit Stanthorpe many times during 2021/23 enjoying wine makers “master classes”  to further my knowledge of the wine making process from the growing process through to the Blending, aging and bottling, to be able to answer some basic questions that guests may have in relation to wine appreciation.

I was a permanent member of the Royal  Australian Air Force for 23 years, living in several Overseas Countries, and during those postings travelled extensively, and tasted/enjoyed the “odd” drop of wine that has encouraged me to take wine tasting/appreciation of our Wonderful Australian wine industry into the tour business here on the Gold  Coast and also Stanthorpe.

I am an Australian Veteran Owned Business (AVOB), and look forward to supporting fellow members on many of my local offered tours.
